Ross Goldberg is Chairman Of The Board of trustees of Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, a 265-bed acute care facility in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He has served on the Los Robles board since 2006, and was elected chair in 2009. Mr. Goldberg is also President of Kevin/Ross Public Relations in Westlake Village, where he represents a variety of healthcare firms nationwide. Prior to founding Kevin/Ross, Mr. Goldberg handled marketing and communications for many large enterprises, including CareAmerica Health Plans, UniHealth America and Hyatt Medical Enterprises. Mr. Goldberg’s writing has been published in Modern Healthcare, Health Affairs, the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Business Journal. He holds a masters degree in communications from Pepperdine University and a bachelors degree in journalism from California State University, Northridge.

Steven T. Valentine leads The Camden Group, one of the nation’s largest consulting firms to hospitals and physician organizations. An expert in finance, mergers and strategic planning with more than 30 years of advisory experience, Mr. Valentine was an early pioneer in turning around distressed hospitals – a service that now enjoys huge nationwide demand. He also serves on the board of HealthCare Partners, one of California’s largest medical groups, on the program advisory board for the University of Southern California’s school of policy, planning and development, and on the boards of several prominent healthcare publications. Henry R. Loubet is Chief Strategy Officer for Keenan & Associates. Mr. Loubet came to Keenan in the spring of 2003. Named in 1997 as one of California’s Top 100 Healthcare Executives, Mr. Loubet has considerable accomplishments in executive level managed healthcare, hospital administration, and e-healthcare.
Mr. Loubet has extensive managed healthcare experience with United Healthcare where he served as CEO of their Western Region. Prior to United Healthcare, Mr. Loubet was President of Foundation Health of California. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and Regional Executive of Health Net. In six years, he led the health plan to grow to 500,000 members. Mr. Loubet also served as Vice Chairman/Chief Operating Officer of the early adopter to the online pharmacy industry, DrugEmporium.com, from 2000-2003.
Mr. Loubet serves on a number of the nation’s premier healthcare organizations in Board of Director and Advisory Board capacities, as well as non-profit boards. ANTHONY WRIGHT
Executive director, Health Access California (California Edition)
Anthony Wright has served as Executive Director for Health Access, the statewide health care consumer advocacy coalition, since 2002. Health Access has been a leader in state and national efforts to fight health care budget cuts, to win consumer protections, and to advance comprehensive health reform and coverage expansions. Wright led fights to pass a first-in-the-nation law against hospital overcharging of the uninsured, and to win a prescription drug discount program despite an $80 million industry campaign against it.
Wright's background is as a consumer advocate and community organizer, and he has been widely quoted in local and national media on a range of issues. He worked for New Jersey Citizen Action, the Center for Media Education, The Nation magazine, and in Vice President Gore's office in the White House.
Wright graduated from Amherst College magna cum laude in both English and Sociology.

MARK FINUCANE

Mark Finucane is a managing director with Alvarez & Marsal’s healthcare industry group in Los Angeles. His clients include academic medical centers, major teaching hospitals, integrated health systems, university health systems and physician practices. He specializes in strategy, operations improvement, financial management, program development, federal waivers and other policy developments in his engagements.
Prior to joining A&M, Finucane spent seven years with Ernst & Young as co-director of their academic medical center practice and as national account leader.
Before entering the private sector, Finucane had extensive leadership roles in public healthcare systems. From 1996 to 2001, he served as director of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. He led an effort which resulted in a major reduction of inpatient capacity, a reduction of emergency room utilization and a major expansion of ambulatory care through a public/private partnership with local clinics and hospitals. Prior to that, Finucane was the Director of Health for Contra Costa County, California.
He has also held various positions in the San Francisco Department of Health.
Finucane earned a bachelor's degree from Wichita State University, and also studied at Trinity College in Dublin. He has attended a variety of senior executive development programs at Harvard University, IBM, and the Transamerica Corporation.

DUNCAN MOORE
Duncan Moore edits the Midwest edition of Payers & Providers. A veteran healthcare journalist, he has reported and edited for Bloomberg News, Modern Healthcare, the Kansas City Star and the Baltimore Sun. His work has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and on the Kaiser Health News website. Moore also spent many years as a communications manager for consulting giant McKinsey & Co, and was a founding member of the Association of Health Care Journalists. He earned a master’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
